Cohort 3
147 startups applied to the program in 2024-25 across 12 different challenge statements. Top 10 high potential startups were shortlisted for PoC and to work collaboratively with the research team of Saint-Gobain.
Cohort 2
In the 2023-24 cohort of the Saint-Gobain Open Innovation Program, an impressive 90 startups applied, eager to showcase their groundbreaking solutions. From this competitive pool, 4 exceptional startups were selected to develop 6 proof-of-concepts (PoC) projects in collaboration with Saint-Gobain researchers.
Together, these startups and researchers co-created PoC ideas with strong potential for future commercialization.
Cohort 1
Saint-Gobain Open Innovation Program 2022-23 saw 85+ startups apply to the program with 8 startups emerging to the top. These startups alongside Saint-Gobain researchers co-created proof-of-concept ideas with the potential to be commercialised in future.

Who is eligible to participate?
Startups and SMEs working on eco-friendly materials, process innovation, data integration and innovative interiors and finishing. Startup must have prototype ready solutions and be eager to co-create solutions with Saint-Gobain. Responsiveness of the startups is a very critical factor for selection.
